Lindsay Lohan Accused of Major Jewel Heist (Really)

In the middle of a police investigation after being accused of stealing an expensive piece of jewelry, Lindsay Lohan just turned over a necklace to police.
Girl cannot stay out of trouble for five minutes. This incident could be much more serious than the whole rehab fight / Dawn Holland bribe scandal too.
It started last week. The owner of an L.A. store filed a police report, claiming a $5,000 necklace had been stolen from her. Suspect #1? You guessed it.

Store surveillance video shows Lindsay in there, wearing the necklace just before it vanished (it's unclear if the video shows her peacing out with it).
Authorities were about to obtain a warrant to search Lohan's home, but last night one of Lindsay's associates turned that piece over to the cops.
Turning in stolen property doesn't mean you didn't gank it in the first place, of course, so the owner can continue to press the case against Lohan.
Knowing Lindsay - who is still on probation, and could be royally screwed if she's in fact guilty of this - she'll claim she wore it out "by accident."

Britney Spears' New Album Cover, Title Revealed: Femme Fatale!

Britney Spears will releases a new album Tuesday, March 15.
This morning, as promised, she revealed its title and cover ...

In the accompanying cover shot, also Tweeted by Britney Spears herself, she wears little makeup and with her hair mussed, looking seductively at the camera.
Appropriate for an album being billed as one of her harder, edgier, grimier efforts. Its first single, "Hold It Against Me," certainly lives up to those descriptions.
The term Femme Fatale refers, at least in our interpretation, to a mysterious woman whose seductive powers over men often lead to dangerous situations.
Also appropriate for the incomparable Britney Spears, right?
While there's already controversy about her new music video and whether she uses a dancing/stunt double, so far the singer is letting criticism roll off her.
What controversy? A Femme Fatale thrives on such things.

Bachelor Bimbo Brouhaha: Gia Allemand, Vienna Girardi Trade Accusations on Twitter

Gia Allemand and Vienna Girardi both vied for Jake Pavelka on The Bachelor, but it's another gentleman from the franchise who has them both in a Twitter tizzy.
Wes Hayden, Jake's competition for Jillian Harris on The Bachelorette, and who later wooed Gia on Bachelor Pad, was rumored to be dating Vienna last week.
While Hayden denied the rumor, it didn't sit well with Gia.

"I guess I can hope to be The Bachelorette now that Wes is dating Vienna!" Gia Tweeted Tuesday, half-seriously lobbying for the lead role this summer.

Gia's reply: "[You are] a bad friend [and] everyone saw you guys at the reunion and in Texas. And [you] approached me. Hope they got it on camera."
"The world already knows [your] true colors."
To which Vienna hilariously replied: "I hope they got the entire conversation on video especially the part about you sleeping with Mario Lopez. Have a nice day!"
Well... there you have it.
Vienna, who was engaged to Jake for about 12 minutes, may or may not be dating Wes, who broke up with Gia, who may or may not have boned Mario Lopez.
No clue why ABC would choose either of these nut jobs when they can have Chantal O'Brien or Emily Maynard, but there's always Bachelor Pad 2 ...

Lindsay Lohan Necklace Caper: Criminal Charge and Probation Violation Likely

Lindsay Lohan could be in for a world of hurt after the LAPD forwards the file on her alleged jewelry heist over to the D.A.'s Office later today.
Sources close to the LAPD investigation say the case against her is "strong." One goes farther, saying that criminal charges being filed is "likely."
In addition to the seriousness of this offense on its own merit, there's the additional complication brought about by her existing probation.

SO SCREWED: Jail could be a-callin' for LiLo after this stunt.
If you missed it, a shop owner in Venice, Calif., filed a police report accusing Lohan of stealing a necklace, valued at $2,500-plus, from her store.
Evidence: Surveillance footage of Lindsay wearing the necklace in the store and a photo of her wearing the one-of-a-kind necklace a week later.
Oh, and one of her "associates" turning it over to the cops this morning. In short, she's royally screwed without one heck of an excuse/lawyer.
As far as her probation is concerned, Lohan visited the L.A. County Probation Department in Santa Monica today for a sit-down with her P.O.
LiLo is on wafer-thin ice as the necklace ganking could be a felony and grounds to violate her probation, which probably means time in jail.
Guess they don't treat shoplifting compulsions at Betty Ford.
We will keep you posted on how the authorities proceed with the case, as well as what excuse the troubled star attempts to use this time.

Charlie Sheen Thanks Fans, Wonders Why We Care

For the first time since his alleged cocaine use and adult film star partying landed him the hospital, which landed him into an at-home treatment program, Charlie Sheen has released a statement.
It reads:

I have a lot of work to do to be able to return the support I have received from so many people.
"I want to say 'thank-you' to my fellow cast members, the crew of Two and a Half Men, and everyone at CBS and Warner Bros., especially Les Moonves and Bruce Rosenblum for their concern and support.
"To my fans, your good wishes have touched me very much. Like Errol Flynn, who had to put down his sword on occasion, I just want to say, 'thank-you.'
Sheen isn't saying he has a lot of work to do in order to get better, is he? We're glad he's gracious, but there's no sign here of a guy who thinks he has a problem - especially considering the text messages he left for E! News minutes prior to this statement. Follow the jump to read them.

Responding to various rumors about his life - will father Martin Sheen really seek conservatorship over him? - Sheen wrote:
"Believe nothing. I will never speak about any of this as long as I'm alive. You're all gonna have to keep towing the same redundant line, guessing wrong....

Chelsea Clinton, Marc Mezvinsky Deny Marital Woes

Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky, who got married just last summer, have been the subjects of some unsettling rumors over the past week.
But the newlyweds say there's no trouble in their marriage.
Despite reports suggesting that there may be serious issues between the couple, a friend of the family reports, "The happy couple are happy."

Adds the friend: "Any report suggesting there is trouble in the marriage is absolutely false." Why all of the speculation to the contrary then?
Possibly because Mezvinsky, an investment banker who had been working for the Manhattan financial firm G3 Capital, recently left his job.
What he plans to do next is not yet known, but in the meantime he is taking advantage of some time off to ski in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Chelsea Clinton, meanwhile, is pursuing a PhD at New York University's Wagner School of Public Service, and visiting Marc when she can.

PTC Really, Really Doesn't Like Skins

The Parents Television Council is taking its anti-Skins crusade to a new level this week, urging members to contact their state attorneys general about it.
Specifically, the PTC alleges that the MTV show and the satellite providers that air it may be in violation of child pornography laws. Yes, we're serious.
The news comes as more and more advertisers distance themselves from the show and the third episode garnered only 1.5 million viewers Monday.

SKINS IN DEEP: The PTC may be the last of its issues. Ratings suck.
But an MTV spokesperson says all 10 episodes of the show will air this season, and despite rumors to the contrary, it will not cancel the controversial show.
The show's creator also defended it, telling critics that the truth hurts.
His claims that Skins is an honest, important look at teen life haven't exactly deterred efforts from some groups, namely the PTC, to bring about its end.
“It is unfortunate that we have reached the point of having to call for a criminal investigation into the [show's] production,” said PTC President Tim Winter.
“As if the blatant teen drug and alcohol abuse on Skins isn’t enough, the fact that MTV allegedly considered whether its program might have violated child pornography laws - and then went ahead and aired it anyway - is beyond repulsive.”

Lindsay Lohan Necklace Heist Excuse: They Let Me Take it On Loan!

Lindsay Lohan's got some good lawyers and an virtual library of excuses on hand for any occasion. This is an all-timer, but the crazy thing is it may even work.
Accused of grand theft by the owner of Kamofie & Company, from which she allegedly stole expensive jewelry, she's likely to argue that they let her take it.
Don't ask us why she would need to take a necklace "on loan" rather than just paying for it, but the surveillance footage has no audio to disprove this theory.

VENICE BANDIT: Can Lindsay Lohan weasel out of this one?
In addition to the lack of audio, which makes it a case of her word against the store's, Lindsay has two other factors going for her if she does go this route.
One, the jeweler knew where she lived and how to get in touch with her, yet never contacted her about getting the necklace back before telling the police.
Two, while you can't apply logic to anything related to Lindsay Lohan, wearing a stolen item knowing she'd be photographed is almost beyond belief.
Almost.
On the flip side, if they were cool with her taking the thing on loan, why would they call the police and report that it was stolen? Minor detail there, right?
In other Lindsay Lohan necklace caper news less beneficial to the star, sources say she was tipped off after the judge signed a search warrant yesterday.
That's when she had her assistant return the jewelry before her house could be raided. Conveniently, it happened as police were preparing to raid LiLo.
Sources connected with the case tell say they believe someone told Lindsay the warrant was in play. Otherwise, why have her stylist return it right then?
Moreover, why have her return it to the LAPD, not the store?
Looks like Lindsay Lohan tried making a preemptive move, but law enforcement sources say that won't be a factor in deciding whether to prosecute her.
The D.A. is expected to make a decision later this week on whether or not to file criminal charges. There's also the possibility of a probation violation.

Perla Hudson, Slash's Wife, Accused of Kicking Female Slash Admirer

Slash's wife, Perla Hudson (also known as Perla Ferrar) has been accused of kicking a woman in the stomach at an Ozzy Osbourne concert in L.A. this week.
Slash and spouse were hanging out backstage after Slash performed at the concert when Perla saw him talking to the woman and flipped the f%*k out.
May explain the marital troubles of Slash and Perla Hudson of late.

Law enforcement sources say the matter is currently being investigated. So far, no charges have been filed. The couple separated last year but reconciled.

Sources: Halle Berry Raged Over Kim Kardashian, Sent Scathing Messages to Gabriel Aubry

Might a tabloid have gotten it right for once?
Late last year, reports surfaced that said Halle Berry had a major problem with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry dating Kim Kardashian, especially considering how the two weren't shy about appearing in public together.
Now - as Berry and Aubry exchange insults and prepare to battle for custody of daughter Nahla - a source tells People that Gabriel's fling with Kardashian really was an issue for the Oscar winner.

"Halle was upset at the idea of someone like that being in her daughter's life," the insider said of Kardashian. "She was very aggravated... She just didn't want Nahla exposed to the cameras that are undoubtedly around a reality star."
How did Berry express her anger?
According to a Radar Online source, she sent Gabriel numerous emails since their split, one of which allegedly read: "You were only good for one thing... Thanks for the donation."
Ouch.
Of course, that's nothing compared to what Aubry is accused of saying to Berry. The entire feud grows more depressing by the day, especially when one considers there's a toddler stuck in the middle of it.

Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato: Still Besties!

Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato have not been pictured together in quite some time, for obvious, understandable reasons.
The former has been busy with Justin Bieber, the latter only recently left rehab.
But in a recent interview with a Spanish outlet called El Paradiario, Selena went out of her way to make it clear there's no beef between her and Demi. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Brooke Mueller to Go Dancing With the Stars?

Brooke Mueller is in talks to join the next cast of Dancing With The Stars, reports say, although Charlie Sheen's estranged wife has yet to receive a formal offer.
"Brooke's agent and the Dancing producers are in talks about her competing," said a source close to the situation. "No official offer has been made yet."
"Brooke is a huge fan, and would probably agree given the opportunity."

Mueller, who recently checked into a sober living facility, has one caveat: "To make sure if she does go on the show it won't adversely effect her sobriety."
"She is working hard at staying sober, and is committed to her recovery."
Charlie Sheen? We're going to guess not quite as committed to getting his act together, given the bizarre statement he issued to E! News last night.
But "Brooke doesn't want anything to derail [her sobriety]," the source adds. "It could be a welcome distraction for her to go on the show though."
Distraction from what?!?! "Every time there is a scandal involving her soon to be ex-hubby, she remembers the dark days after the Aspen incident."
Ah yes, the 2009 Christmas melee. Charlie Sheen's dalliances with porn, drugs and the law are becoming so numerous, we almost forget that one.

Jon and Kate Gosselin: Proud of Expelled Kids

Jon and Kate Gosselin are proud of troubled kids Alexis and Collin and hope that the duo can return to school later this year following their recent expulsion.
Kate is thrilled with the progress the pair have made while home schooled and Jon concedes that Kate has done a good job getting the two back on track.
Recalcitrant Collin and Alexis were expelled from their private Pennsylvania school last year after they were allegedly abusive to other children ate school.

Jon and Kate are still at odds over many things - namely Kate's global adventures with the kids - but both believe the home-schooling is ready to end.
“Kate is very proud of the way the home schooling has gone – both Alexis and Collin argue less and understand what they did wrong," says a source.
“Jon is also pleased with what Kate has done to get the kids back on track academically and would love them back to school with the rest of the kids."
“He’s really happy and feels that they are better behaved in public now and are more responsible with doing chores and tasks around the house too."
“Alexis and Collin are no longer fighting with their nannies as often when they are told to do something or are asked to get ready for bed either.”
It remains to be seen if the school will take the Gosselin kids back, but may consider it so around September if the childrens’ attitudes improve.
Both Alexis and Collin received three full weeks of intensive special treatment in an attempt to focus their behavior before they were expelled.
When they were originally expelled, it caused a real rift between Jon and Kate but they have become united in their support for the kids since.

Proving Lindsay Lohan is a Jewel Thief May Be Difficult Task For D.A.

Lindsay Lohan is accused of walking out of a jewelry store with some expensive merchandise, and it's pretty clear the troubled star is guilty of that act.
Whether a crime was committed or not is a different story, however.
The store may be hard pressed to prove she stole - and may have compromised prosecution by waiting to report the Lindsay Lohan necklace caper.
In Trouble Again
Lindsay Lohan needs to steal some new shorts next. Yikes.
The owner of Kamofie & Company claims Lindsay walked out with the $2,500 necklace on January 22, yet she did not inform the LAPD until the next day.
Sources say the owner claims she tried contacting Lindsay's associates on the 22nd to ask them to return the item, but weren't able to reach anyone.
The problem with the owner's case is that she knew exactly where it was, and could have just walked down the street and knocked at Lindsay's door.
Also, not even Lindsay Lohan is dumb enough to walk around being photographed with something she had just ripped off. Well, we think so anyway.
Lindsay's excuse is that the store gave it to her on loan.
Absurd as that sounds, it's a known fact that jewelry store owners have regularly thrown themselves at Lindsay, asking her to wear their stuff.
As recently as January 7, the troubled star was seen posing with another jewelry owner who gifted her an expensive necklace, free of charge.
In order to charge Lindsay with grand theft, the D.A. must prove she had a specific intention to permanently take the item as she walked out.
The D.A. has three options: Filing a felony grand theft charge, filing a misdemeanor charge or not filing anything. A decision is expected next week.
There's also the matter of a probation violation having occurred and Lindsay being thrown in jail for that, which as we know has happened before.
It's not likely, though, in a situation unrelated to the original case - she's on probation for DUI - so unless there are charge filed, she should skate.

According to TV Guide, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star will play a divorced reality star who goes house-hunting with Bonnie and Vince on her reality show within the show. Sounds hilarious!
Grammer previously starred in 1996's The Naked Detective as Annie O'Shea and as Bikini Girl in Westchester in 1997's Private Parts.

Dr. Phil, Wife Sued Over Dog Attack

Popular daytime TV blowhard Dr. Phil has always been a bit of an attack dog. Just ask the two women he locked in a house with some naked dude.
It's his actual dog who's at the center of the doc's latest controversy, though.
Phil and Robin McGraw are being sued for personal injury and damages after it attacked their best friend at the couple’s mansion in Beverly Hills.

Janet Harris filed suit against the pair this week, alleging that the couple’s gross negligence resulted in serious injuries courtesy of Maggie.
Harris claims she was brutally mauled by canine without provocation or warning, resulting in cuts, abrasions and deep puncture wounds.
The McGraws allegedly refused to provide compensation or assistance to Janet to aid with her illness, according to her attorney, who notes:

John Wayne Schulz: American Idol Hopeful, Former Recording Artist

John Wayne Schulz is new to American Idol, wowing the judges in Austin last night with his country persona and incredible chops.
But John Wayne Schulz is not new to the music scene. This 23-year old actually recorded an album on an independent label when he was 14.
It contained 10 tracks, was titled "Ropin' Dreams" and was released on Texas-based BSW Records, confirms that company's president and CEO, Frank Willson.

"He was very, very young when we first started," Wilson tells Billboard. "He's of Mormon faith, and he had to go on his church mission. He was gone for two years, and we just weren't able to reconnect once he returned."
Does Wilson have a prediction? Could John Wayne win American Idol? The record company expert says:
"I think he will [go far], yes. That whole family is really a super, super family. They really stick together. They work hard, and he's got the talent. I think he has a very good chance."

The actor stands across from Reese Witherspoon in the official poster for Water for Elephants, which was released this week and which teases the upcoming. It's based on the best-selling novel, focuses on life at a circus and hits theaters on April 22.

Stewart has been too busy to be jealous of Rob and Reese, however. She recently wrapped shooting on her own movie-based-on-a-novel, On the Road. Here's your first look at the actress in that role.
