Taylor Swift & Jake Gyllenhaal: Holding Hands!

They've been spotted around New York and Nashville. They've supposedly eaten ice cream together and definitely been on at least one coffee date.
But Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift haven't been photographed acting like a legitimate couple... until now!
While other tabloids this week settled for misleading stories (Robsten expecting a baby? Come on.), Us Weekly trumped them all with a photo of Jake and Taylor holding hands during a walk in Brooklyn over Thanksgiving weekend. Swiftenhaal is totally on!

Chad Ochocinco Confirms Engagement to Evelyn Lozada

Chad Ochocinco may not know how to properly spell the Spanish translation of his football number, but the Bengals wide receiver is well aware of how to spell true love:

In other, far more succinct words: the former NFL All-Pro has confirmed his engagement to Evelyn Lozada.

"It's time for me to sit down," Ochocinco told Ryan Seacrest on the latter's radio show today. "Enough is enough. I'm 32, you know, my days are over... I think I found everything I've been looking for in one person. [She's] everything I've been missing."
Lozada is a familiar name to viewers of VH1's Basketball Wives. She was once engaged to NBA star Antoine Walker, until that power forward squandered his fortune and fell over $4 million into debt. There's little doubt she and Ochocinco will last forever, though.

Unlike sibling Kendall - who caused controversy when she posed in a string bikini earlier this year - Kylie kept her shoot PG, donning upscale, sophisticated outfits. To wit:

Reese Witherspoon is quite confident in her sexuality.
Similarly, we have no doubts about Reese's sexuality.

As for her own love life, Witherspoon, who dated Jake Gyllenhaal before he began dating Taylor Swift, is happier than ever these days with boyfriend Jim Toth. The mother of Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7, might even consider having more kids.
"I would love to have more kids," she says. "Kids are the best part of my day. I don’t wake up to make movies. I wake up to hang out with my family.”

Bosnian Protesters Decry "Ignorant" Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie has become the target of more criticism, this time regarding her feature directorial debut, not just her hatred of Thanksgiving.
A love story set during the Bosnian War, her film was cut short after rumors that it portrayed a relationship between a rapist and his victim.
The project has sparked protests and was called "ignorant" by a group of women who were victims of sexual violence during the 1990s war.

In a letter to the United Nations refugee agency, for which the movie star is a goodwill ambassador, the Women Victims of War criticized her sharply.
They say they are "deeply concerned about the movie."
"Angelina Jolie's ignorant attitude towards victims says enough about the scenario and gives us the right to continue having doubts," the letter read.
After rumors of the rapist story line surfaced in October, a group of Bosnian War rape victims pressured officials to withdraw Jolie's filming permit.
The rumors proved to be untrue.
The country's minister of culture read the script - about a Bosnian woman who falls in love with a Serb man - and Jolie's permit was reinstated.
However, Jolie earlier this month cut the shooting schedule from 10 days to three and decided to film some of the scenes in Hungary instead.
At the time, Jolie said she wanted to meet with the groups that complained to clear up any misunderstanding, but no meeting ever transpired.
"We have insisted to meet Angelina Jolie since we don't want to be wrongly presented in the world ... Our voices are worthwhile and we should have got much more respect," the WVW letter read. "Angelina has made a big mistake."
"We feel that she did not act like a real UNHCR ambassador and we believe that she has no more credibility to remain the ambassador."

Taylor Lautner Meets Famous Father of New Girlfriend

It's unclear if Taylor Lautner experienced such excitement over this past weekend, but sources confirm to Marie Claire that the actor met the aforementioned British singer at some point over the last few days. For what reason?
He's the father of Taylor's new girlfriend, Lily Collins.
"[Phil is] pretty tough on the guys Lily introduces him to," an insider said. "Taylor was nervous about meeting him, but they got along well."
Lautner and his new gal pal met on the set of Abduction. Directed by John Singleton, this thriller revolves around Taylor's character, who sets out to uncover the truth after discovering a baby photo of himself listed on a missing persons website.

Michael Douglas: Feeling "Stronger," Preparing for New Movie

Michael Douglas is not cancer-free just yet.
But the Oscar-winning actor, who was diagnosed in August, tells People he feels "stronger everyday," as he continues to undergo treatment, recognizing: "It's a long road back."

Part of that road involves prepping for his next role. The 66-year old will take the title role in Liberace, a biopic directed by Steven Soderbergh.
"I've got a bunch of tapes of performances," he said of the real-life character. "I'm thinking; I'm a blank slate. Everything shows me he was a lovely man; I just want to reconfirm that."
The movie stars shooting this spring, which should give Douglas plenty more time to spend with his family. He spent Thanksgiving weekend with wife Catherine Zeta-Jones and their kids at Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando.

Bodyguard of Justin Bieber Accused of Assault

For the second time in a couple months, Justin Bieber finds himself at the center of an assault allegation. This time, though, the singer's bodyguard accused of acting inappropriately.
According to celebrity photographer Jason Nicholas, he tried to take a photo of Bieber in NYC on Friday, only to be sent to the hospital by an overly aggressive employee of the star.
Nicholas tells E! News he was standing off to the side, near the London Hotel, acting like "a gentleman" when "Bieber comes out with a small group, two bodyguards, one handler and one other person. Without blocking the door, I stuck my camera out with my arm and shot him."

The paparazzi member then details what happened next, saying one of the men protecting Justin "snapped" and:
"He shoved me up against the SUV. He was super aggressive and it happened right in front of Bieber, who got right in the car, but I got some usable pics out of it.
"When Bieber got into the car, he put his mouth to the glass and let out a roar, like a primal scream, with his mouth wide open, it was so odd."
Nicolas, who visited New York Presbyterian Weill-Cornell Hospital soon after the attack, claims doctors there diagnosed him with a strained back muscle. He was released late on Friday and filed an assault report against the bodyguard with the NYPD today.
"I just want to stress, for the record, that everyone, paparazzi included, should have the right to come home from work at the end of the day in one piece," he said.
Bieber recorded an anti-bullying PSA last week. His reps could not be reached for comment. Are you buying this cameraman's tale?

Randy and Evi Quaid Believe They Will Be Killed, Radar Online is Owned By Cops

Everything is a conspiracy if you're Randy and Evi Quaid.
The insane pair, having already alleged that the Star Whackers are coming to do them in (just as they have Heath Ledger, David Carradine and others), now say that gossip website Radar Online is a front owned and operated by the police.

BRINGING THE CRAZY: No one does it like the Quaids.
"Radar Online is owned by the police," she told Esquire. "They called the Dairy Queen in Marfa, Texas, to spread rumors about us when we lived there."
The celebrity gossip site denies it is owned by the police.
In an length interview, the Quaids talk about why they are seeking asylum in Canada from charges in California and about the roving gang of hooligans who, they say, are killing and/or trying to ruin the lives of their celebrity friends.
In addition to the deaths of Carradine and Ledger, the couple has mentioned Mel Gibson and Charlie Sheen as other "targets" of the Star Whackers.
Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears better watch out, too.
It stops being as funny when Randy and Evi Quaid actually predict their own death - by stabbing, by double-hanging, or by lethal doses of Demerol.
"We're this close to solving our own murder," Evi Quaid said, without a hint of irony or humor. "It's the only way I'll be able to keep Randy alive."
All we have to say is that hopefully a whole team of top-notch psychiatrists and therapists will be covered under the Canadian health care system.

Divorce Lawyer Waives Tony Parker

Tony Parker and Eva Longoria are splitting up, but given that his attorney also reps Erin Barry, the woman he was sexting, he's now without representation.
Richard Orsinger filed Tony's divorce petition on November 19 in Texas. But when Tony hired him, he didn't know another one of his clients was involved.
Erin Barry, the estranged wife of Brent Barry, Parker's former San Antonio Spurs teammate, is the woman who Tony was allegedly sexting on the side.

OVER: For Tony and Eva, it's a question of when, not if.
The bottom line was that Orsinger felt it was a conflict of interest to rep both Parker and Barry in their respective divorce cases, and Parker got cut.
According to reports, Parker is in the process of finding another lawyer and the Texas divorce will proceed. Eva has filed for divorce in Los Angeles.
Fortunately, the lawyer does not also represent Sophia Egeler.

Dancing With the Stars Courting Lindsay Lohan!?

Despite getting fired parting ways with the Linda Lovelace biopic Inferno, Lindsay Lohan may have a new project on the horizon: Dancing With the Stars!
"Dancing with the Stars producers have actually had Lindsay Lohan on their wish list of cast members for a very long time,” a source told Radar Online.
That we can see. She'd be great for generating buzz if nothing else. But would they actually pull the trigger given that ... well, this is Lindsay Lohan?

Though Lohan’s past has been a sticking point for the show, her current stay at the Betty Ford Center is producing positive results ... at least so far.
“The producers were concerned about her erratic behavior, but they are taking another look at asking her to come on next season,” the source added.
“She would be available because she isn't going to be filming Inferno," and not only that, “The girl can dance. Lindsay is actually wicked talented.”
One added bonus of the high-profile gig? BANK. “It pays very well. Lindsay has very limited income now and this could help get her out of the red."
Cast members typically receive $125,000 to start, with incentives building on top of that as they advance further into the season. Not a bad offer.
Despite the allure of the hit reality show, the source stressed that Lindsay’s future will depend in large part on what is best for her ongoing sobriety.
That would probably be 1-3 years of relative seclusion and 24/7 supervision a la Britney Spears, but she lacks that kind of family support system.
We'll see if her handlers rush her back to work or not, but at least for the time being, it looks like the troubled star is making recovery her #1 job.
“Lindsay won't be making decisions about what she chooses for her next project without consulting first with her treatment team,” the source said.
“This wasn't mandated by the court, her advisors or medical team, but Lindsay has taken that step herself, which is a very, very positive sign."

A couple of side notes on top of the blatantly misleading headline:
  • That's one of the worst Jessica Simpson pictures ever. The girl is hot, if nothing else. Show it ... or at least use a pic of her with Eric.
  • If Jennifer Aniston is really "baring it all," why is there a stock photo, circa 2002, on the cover? Not exactly a compelling teaser.
  • We already saw the first Breaking Dawn photo. Come on guys.

Breaking Non-News: Twilight Baby on the Way!

In Breaking Dawn, Bella will give birth to Renesmee, a half-vampire, half-human child to be played by Mackenzie Foy.
Since when is the main storyline in a best-selling novel and planned blockbuster considered "BREAKING NEWS?" Since a tabloid could slap the word "BABY!" alongside photos of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson and try to fool readers into thinking this real-life couple was expecting.

This isn't the first time a trashy magazine has tried to claim Stewart was pregnant. Heck, it's not even the second time.
Publishers will only cease such antics when you, the consumer, stop buying their products. Rest assured: if Kristen ever actually gets knocked up with Robert's baby, THG will be the first to tell you. For free.

Report: Jason Trawick Beat Up Pregnant Britney Spears, Cheated on Her With Teenager

An explosive tabloid report this morning claims that Britney Spears was assaulted by her boyfriend Jason Trawick, and that she was pregnant at the time.
He also cheated on the pop star with a teenager, supposedly.
A main source cited in this Star Magazine cover story is Jason Alexander, Brit's former husband (albeit for less than three days) way back in the day ...

STARTLING ALLEGATION: Was Britney Spears attacked by Jason Trawick?
Doctored or not, the cover does show a photo of Britney’s black eye, which Jason Trawick allegedly provided after she accused him of straying.
Perhaps most shockingly, on top of the beatdown, the magazine claims Britney Spears was pregnant with his baby at the time ... and no longer is?
While it's impossible to believe much that Star says, this is unusually inflammatory, borderline libelous stuff to concoct and run for no reason.
What do you think? Could there be any truth to this whatsoever? Spears' official site hasn't denied it on its "BS Alert" ... yet. Stay tuned.

As far as career moves go, this isn't the kind most television personalities aim for: Alexa Chung is going from MTV to PBS.
The former host of It's On With Alexa Chung has signed on for Thrift America, an upcoming PBS program. It will premiere this summer and feature Chung combing through garage sales and flea markets in cities such as Detroit, Nashville and Brooklyn.

Kara DioGuardi to Pen American Idol-Based Memoir

Forget trees falling in the forest. Consider this question: if someone pens a memoir, but no one ever reads it, does the book actually exist?
We ask this question in light of the news that Kara DioGuardi will release "A Helluva High Note: Surviving Life, Love, And American Idol," in April 2011. The songwriter, who was never very popular during her two years on the show, was fired/quit Idol in early September.

Kim Kardashian Plays Dead for Good Cause

Kim Kardashian is finally putting her inexplicable popularity to good use.
The large-breasted sex tape star is one of a number of big names participating in the Digital Life Sacrifice event, a charitable effort spearheaded by Alicia Keys that asks celebrities to stay off all social networking sites until $1 million is raised in honor of World AIDS Day on December 1.
In a poster to promote the cause, Kim does the same thing that made her famous in the first place: lie down in front of a camera with her eyes closed...
"Kim Kardashian Is Dead," reads this ad, detailing how she has sacrificed her digital life "to give real life to millions of others affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India. Visit BuyLife.org or text ‘KIM’ to ‘90999’ to buy her life now."
We're all for any celebrity using his/her fame to raise funds. But wouldn't this be a more effective campaign if the population could donate money to keep Kim off Twitter and Facebook?
