Deena Nicole Cortese Dishes on Jersey Shore Season, Becoming Part of the Family

As Pauly D told THG, Deena Nicole Cortese will be shaking things up on Jersey Shore. The Garden State native makes her debut on tonight's Season 3 premiere.
In a new interview with TV Guide, the new girl in "the family" dishes on BFF Snooki, all of the drama, why her parents were all for her joining the show and more:
Excerpts from Deena's Q&A below ...

CLASS IN A GLASS: That's Deena Nicole Cortese for you.

On joining the cast: "I love the show and wanted to do it because I go down to the shore all the time, and I'm like 35 minutes from Seaside. When Snooks asked me to come down, I was like, 'Yeah, let's do this. I'm down.'"
On being the new girl: "I was a little nervous, but I wanted to get to know everyone and I was excited. I was going to try to get to know everyone and be myself. I came in, they really opened their lives to me and it was awesome."
On her parents' take: "They think it's hysterical and they're very supportive of me. I told them every single thing from back-to-front about what I did, and they're still supportive. We're a strong Italian family. They support me through thick or thin."
On the tension this season: "I think this season really brought everyone back together as a family. It was a really fun season, and we had such a good time. There's so many huge things that happen this season. I think it tops the last one."
On getting sucked into the drama: "In the beginning I did, especially the first night, because I think when I came in with Snooki, Sammi didn't know what to think about me. I think she was a little thrown off. [There] was a lot of tension."
On the men of Jersey Shore: "They look out for us rather than try and hook up with us. I was very close with Pauly. Our personalities are so much alike. We like to have a good time. He's loud, he's outgoing and just says what's on his mind."
On her embarrassing moments: "Accidentally taking off my bathing suit bottom. I didn't realize I had taken it down with my skirt because I was so drunk. I definitely regret doing that, but there's nothing I can do but laugh at this point

Happy Birthday, Tiffany Pollard!

Tiffany Pollard is making a comeback, folks. The former reality star and giant-breasted woman is in the news today for three reasons:

1. She covers the latest issue of Bleed.
2. She turns 29.
3. She's hilarious.

Pollard hasn't done much since she went to work on VH1 in 2009, but here's hoping this isn't the last time we write about her. Possessing as much talent as Kim Kardashian, New York is one sex tape away from making it big! She's awaiting your birthday wishes.

Take That: Elizabeth Edwards Cut John Out of Will

Talk about a parting shot. Elizabeth Edwards cut her estranged, cheating husband John out of her will less than a week before passing away.
Elizabeth, who died last month after a courageous battle with breast cancer, left everything in her sole possession to their three children.
Cate Edwards, a 28-year-old lawyer and the pair's eldest child, was named as the executor of her mom's will, according to Inside Edition.
John Edwards was not mentioned even once in the document.

PERSONA NON GRATA: John probably had this one coming.

Edwards, who was 61, signed the document on December 1 - six days before she passed at her home in Chapel Hill, N.C., succumbing to breast cancer.
She and John were married for 33 years, but were estranged by the end after his affair and love child with Rielle Hunter - which he lied profusely about, and took place as Elizabeth was terminally ill and he was running for U.S. President.
Yup, that'll pretty much do a marriage in.
Don't worry, though. John being cut out of the will, while deserved, was symbolic for the most part. He and his $25 million net worth will be fine. How long you think until he and Rielle tie the knot? With this guy? A year max.

Holly Madison on Hugh Hefner Engagement: Mixed, Complicated Feelings

In 2008, Holly Madison was the busty blonde rumored to be marrying Hugh Hefner.
Fast forward a couple years, though, and Crystal Harris is the young model engaged to the Playboy founder. How did Madison react to that news when she found out?
"I [was] very surprised," Holly tells E! News. "I have a lot of different feelings on it. I don't just feel one way. I kind of didn't want to put a generic statement out there like 'Congratulations!' because I felt everyone would see through that."

So, what did Madison do? She visited Hef and Harris at the Playboy Mansion this week - with cameras from her reality show in tow, of course.

"I wanted to see him and Crystal and tell everybody face-to-face how I felt. It went very well," she said. "I had a good day."

But did Hefner make a good choice? Who would you rather give it to for the rest of your life?

Katy Perry to Appear on How I Met Your Mother

Katy Perry is about to make like Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag, Kim Kardashian, Nicole Scherzinger, Mandy Moore and Britney Spears.
As a How I Met Your Mother guest star, that is.
The singer will be appearing on the CBS sitcom in an episode titled "Oh Honey" to air later this spring, the network announced today.

Katy celebrates her two People's Choice Awards last night.

Perry will play another of Ted's (Josh Radnor) love interest and also the cousin of Zoey (Jennifer Morrison) on the upcoming episode.
Because of her naivete, the gang calls her "Honey."
As long as they don't make any comments about Katy Perry with no makeup. That just has the potential for hurt feelings right there.

Teen Moan: Vivid Makes Pitch to Amber Portwood

Vivid Entertainment took a brief time out from courting Octomom to offer another troubled star financial relief via a career in porn. It's what they do.
The adult film kingpin, helmed by CEO Steve Hirsch, is in talks Amber Portwood. Teen Mom ruined her life, she says. Now Vivid wants to save it.
“We’d very much like to work with Amber and to accommodate her any way we can,” Hirsch said. Hopefully he throws in some Red Bull and vodka.

Amber Portwood, porn star? Don't rule it out.

It’s been an expensive year for Amber. She's facing two felony counts and one misdemeanor in conjunction with beating her baby daddy on Teen Mom.
The deal with Vivid is estimated to be worth $500,000 and would give newly single Amber a way to pay her legal bills. It would also be kinky as $hit!
Come on. Is there a more pleasurable way to earn enough for a five-year supply of Wal-Mart clothes, cheap spray tanner and bail money, all in just a few hours?
We think not. Just don't cast Gary Shirley as her co-star, Vivid. Please.

Father of Hank Baskett Shoots Down Kendra Divorce Talk

In a startling turns of events, news broken by In Touch Weekly a couple days ago has been disproven by a reliable source.
Speaking to Radar Online, the father of Hask Baskett says his son and Kendra Wilkinson are NOT getting a divorce. In fact, Hank's dad shoots down the rumor as "bunch of crap!"
At least we assume he was talking about the rumor. He may have been referring to Baskett's NFL career.

Another source, meanwhile, tells the site that any break-up talk "is a joke. There are no plans on getting a divorce... They're going to be out and about at events in Los Angeles" in the near future.

And why shouldn't they be? Neither Hank nor Kendra has anything else to do.

Adam Levine: Naked for a Good Cause!

Attention, female readers: try not to get any drool on your keyboard.
Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine poses naked in the latest issue of Cosmpolitan UK, and he does it for a good cause: prostate and testicular cancer awareness.
With a strategically placed hand covering his genitals, the crooner is encouraging men to check for signs of these diseases. He says:
"I spend most of my life naked. In fact, I often have to be told by the people around me that it's inappropriate to be as naked as I am. But I live in California, where it's always warm, so why not?"

Note to Megan Fox: any time you wanna pose for breast cancer research, feel free. Seriously. Please.

Howard K. Stern Conviction: Dismissed By Judge!

Howard K. Stern was expected to be formally sentenced in court today after being convicted by a jury of his peers last year on charges of conspiracy.
Instead, in a shocking turn of events, the judge threw out the case.
Despite a conviction on charges related to Anna Nicole Smith's death - prosecutors argued, and a jury concurred, that he conspired to fuel the late model's drug habit - Stern's conviction was baseless in the mind of the judge, who tossed it.

FREE MAN: Howard K. Stern was (somehow) vindicated today.

This marked a repudiation of sorts for newly-inaugurated California Gov. Jerry Brown, who spent millions as Attorney General going after Stern in the case.
Judge Robert Perry found that Stern never had criminal intentions when he used his name and others to protect Smith's privacy in obtaining prescriptions.
Perry also found that Dr. Khristine Eroshevich was acting out of concern for Smith in doing the same and commuted her sentence to a year of probation.
The ruling marks the denouement of a long-running drama centering on the blonde beauty's troubled life, which was stranger than any fiction you'll read.
In addition to the legal case against Stern, he and Larry Birkhead were locked in a battle to claim paternity of Smith's daughter Dannielynn (Larry won).
Years before she passed away, Anna Nicole Smith was involved in an epic battle for the nine-figure estate of her late husband, J. Howard Marshall.

JWoww Nude Photos: Blocked By Court Order!

Jersey Shore star JWoww has gone to court to block her ex, Tom Lippolis from releasing any nude photographs of her, according to new reports.
The nude photos show JWoww (real name Jenni Farley) both before and after she had breast augmentation (the second time) and liposuction. Yikes.
JWoww filed an Order To Show Cause in a Long Island court in a bid to stop her former lover and manager from cashing in on any such pics.

Wait ... JWoww had plastic surgery?!

However, Lippolis’ lawyer, Jeffery I. Baum, believes that the MTV siren has no right to block his client doing with the JWoww nude photos as he pleases.
His rationale: They were taken on his cell phone with her consent.
“She is trying to block him from distributing the images and is trying to get the court to compel arbitration in the case," he said, adding he will object.
“In return we have filed to ask the judge to dismiss her order because the images belong to my client and were taken with Miss Farley’s consent."
“We believe they represent no irreparable harm to her and Mr. Lippolis should not be precluded from doing what he wants with them.”
JWoww reportedly fears the release of the images because they show she has had considerable plastic surgery, including liposuction.
She did turn down Playboy and its $400,000 offer last year.
“She is mortified that the photographs might get out there now that she has established herself as a reality star," reports a source.
“The photographs really show how much work she had done and she looks great in the ‘after shots’ after she healed from surgery."
“It is the ‘before shots’ that she is really worried about at this point ... unfortunately her relationship with Tom did not pan-out.”
Lippolis is suing JWoww, claiming that she had stiffed him out of cash after he managed her for two seasons of the hit show.
That case is ongoing. JWoww is now dating Roger Williams.

Lindsay Lohan Runs Afoul of the Law Again

Another day, another Lindsay Lohan-criminal justice system incident.
This time, at least, her actions didn't warrant a probation violation, but merely a violation of the parking variety. Girl got ticketed hard core in Venice!
Residents of her new neighborhood have made their opposition to Lindsay clear. Thursday, a meter maid decided to send a message ... or just do her job.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME: Lohan cannot catch a break.

No word if Lindsay whined that the police are out to get her or if she parked in a handicapped spot assuming she qualifies, being f*%ked up in the brain and all.

Kyle Richards to Camille Grammer: Don't Go!

Unless this is all a negotiating ploy, which is entirely plausible, Camille Grammer will likely exit The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after this season.
A day after talk about the reality star's departure first surfaced, her lawyer has officially negotiated a settlement with Bravo that will allow his client to walk away with no repercussions.
How does Kyle Richards, Grammer's top rival on the series, feel about this news? You might be surprised.

"Would I want her to be there [if there was another season]? Yes, I would," Richards tells E! News. "I know that we're very different and we're like oil and water together, but I can't help but think what she's going through in her personal life might have something to do with that. It'd be interesting to see what happens when things in her life have calmed down a bit and maybe we can work things out a little better."

Sources say Grammer won't announce her departure until after Bravo airs its post-season reunion special. Do you wanna see her go?

Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe: Getting Serious?

Ryan Phillippe truly is happy for Reese Witherspoon. Not just because he's mature and she's the mother of his children.
But also because the actor is doing fairly well for himself in the love department: Phillippe was spotted out with Amanda Seyfried this week in Mexico.
According to New York Post sources, the couple was spotted dining at a restaurant in Tulum and "they were kissing all throughout dinner. It was a small, hole-in-the-wall restaurant."

Johnny Weir in New Memoir: I'm Gay

Figure skating champion Johnny Weir has revealed that he is gay.
In his upcoming memoir, Welcome to My World, due out next week, Weir discusses his sexual orientation in a very straightforward manner. One excerpt:
“In a sexual way, I’m gay, but I would marry a woman tomorrow if it struck me. I don’t think sex and relationships necessarily have to go together.”

Johnny Weir makes his feelings abundantly clear.

“With people killing themselves and being scared into the closet, I hope that even just one person can gain strength from my story,” Weir added.
Johnny discusses getting called names in school, an affair he had with a male skater he only refers to as “Alex,” and why he didn’t come out earlier.
“A lot of the gays got downright angry about my silence. But pressure is the last thing that would make me want to ‘join’ a community.’” he said.

Adam Lambert on Teen Mom: So Depressing!

Guess we know on which side Adam Lambert stands when it comes to our THG debate on Teen Mom...
With the MTV show making a number of headlines these days - from airing a controversial abortion special to Amber Portwood going to jail... and pretty much sucking as a human being - the singer has chimed in on the series with the following Tweet:
This Teen Mom show on MTV is so depressing. I know it's "real life" but shouldn't there be programming that inspires kids to shoot higher? #glorifyingwhitetrash

Phone Records, Paramedics, Michael Jackson Aide Paint Unflattering Picture of Dr. Conrad Murray

Dr. Conrad Murray didn't exactly rush to call 911 after he found Michael Jackson lifeless, according to paramedics ... and the doctor's phone records.
Murray may try to argue Michael Jackson killed himself with a lethal dose of Propofol in a brief window during which the doc went to the bathroom.
When he came back, the defense theory goes, Murray called 911 right away. But phone company employees told a different story in court today.

The phone company says that in the hours surrounding the revelation that Michael was lifeless in bed, Murray was texting and calling lots of people.
Not on his list? 911.
Records show Dr. Murray was sending and receiving multiple texts. Two texts were sent by Murray to someone in Texas at 12:03 and 12:04 p.m.
It's unclear if the texts pertained to the women in Murray's office who went to a storage facility to retrieve boxes, but you have to wonder.
The death timeline dispute has permeated for months, with some law enforcement sources believing MJ was injected as early as 10:50 a.m.
Murray also sent data at 12:15, 12:18 and 12:53 p.m. on June 25, 2009, when the King of Pop passed away of acute Propofol intoxication.
The singer's personal physician also called a number of people, including his girlfriend, Nicole Alvarez, but the only record shows 1:08 p.m.
This is inconsistent with earlier claims that he talked with Alvarez around noon and when he realized MJ was in distress, dropped the phone.
Meanwhile, a paramedic testified today that Dr. Conrad Murray denied giving Michael Jackson drugs as the singer lay lifeless in his bedroom.
Martin Blount said when he walked into MJ's room Murray was sweating profusely. Murray told EMTs he waited only one minute to call 911.
Another paramedic testified that he believed Murray waited between 20 minutes to an hour to call 911. The call was placed at 12:21 p.m.
Then there's this.
Alberto Alvarez (no relation to Nicole), a bodyguard who says he was MJ's Director of Logistics, said Murray removed bottles from MJ's room.
Along with an IV bag with a milky-white substance, believed to be Propofol, Murray told Alvarez to remove certain bottles before calling 911.
Alvarez says he walked into MJ's bedroom at 12:17 p.m. he saw Michael laying motionless. Murray told him Michael had "an allergic reaction."
He ordered him to collect a bag of bottles and put them in a bag. Alvarez says Murray "instructed me to remove the IV bag from the IV stand."
Alvarez says there was a second IV bag - which contained saline. Murray told him to leave it. He also said that Michael's kids watched him die.

Justin Bieber to Guest Star on Glee... with Cheryl Cole?!?

Take the following rumor with a grain of salt the size of Justin Bieber's fan base...
According to Great Britain's The Sun, Justin Bieber has been approached by producers to guest star on Glee and has actually accepted - under one condition.
"It must be in the agreement that [Cheryl Cole] gets a part in the show as well," Justin allegedly told the newspaper. "Cheryl and the show make total sense. It's all about people who look good and can sing and dance - that's totally Cheryl."

Bieber has made no secret that he crushes on Cole, but these quotes still don't sound like him, do they?

"Glee is a great way to introduce [Cole] to the States," he says. "It would be great if she played a substitute teacher taking a sabbatical from England or something. Can you imagine how hot Cheryl would look dressed as a school teacher?"

Whether or not Justin is quoted correctly here, we still wanna know: Do you think he should appear on Glee?
