Bret Michaels on Engagement to Kristi Gibson: It Feels Awesome!

It seems like only a few months ago that Bret Michaels was a walking STD who may have slept with Tish Cyrus.
But the rocker reversed his image via his reality show finale on Monday night, proposing to the mother of his children, Kristi Gibson.
"It feels awesome," Michaels told People of the engagement. "When Kristi said, 'I don't need this ring, I don't need the piece of paper, I love you no matter what,' she took the pressure off."

Gibson turns 40 on Christmas Day and has been with Bret through the ups, downs and brain aneurysms.

"I love him for him," she told the magazine. "This is the best birthday and Christmas present ever. We'll be virgins stepping into the whole engagement and marriage thing. And with our girls growing up, we'll all have the same last name."

Gibson added that she doesn't want a big wedding and the pair may jet off to a tropical island in order to tie the knot.

Lady Gaga Sells Out, Puts on Pants in Paris

Boo hoo. It's cold. So what.
You're Lady Gaga, Woman of the Year. We expect the best from you. We understand you weren't dressed for the Parisian weather, but we're counting on you!
Stepping out of her hotel yesterday in the French capital, she was “wearing a leather jacket,” according to a witness. “She had a matching beige string, big black fishnet stockings and really high, high heels ... but no pants!”

Gaga, who displays a similar wardrobe preference ... well, all the time, evidently felt a quick change of heart or the day’s near-freezing temperatures.
Within minutes, her car stopped along the rue Richelieu, where she headed to a Bruce Field boutique. “Lady Gaga came in at 5:15,” an employee says.
“She bought a number of things.” Among the items she selected, according to reports, “were pants and a lot of scarves. Most everything in purple.”
Well, if you can't go pants-free, we can accept purple.

Heidi Montag: Literally Scarred For Life!

The Hills star Heidi Montag sought perfection when she underwent 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day late last year. Safe to say that didn't work out.
"Parts of my body definitely look worse than they did presurgery," she tells Life & Style in the tabloid's new cover story. "This is not what I signed up for."
That's just too bad... except that it's EXACTLY WHAT SHE SIGNED UP FOR. You don't go for a routine physical and stumble into this by accident, idiot.

Only Heidi Montag would try to have a plastic surgeon make her into a human Barbie doll, then decide that might have been going a little overboard, then try to play the victim and milk it for even more publicity and money later.
Makes it difficult to feel very sympathetic, we'll be honest.
In the magazine, she details her plastic surgery disaster:
Unsightly scars. Red inflammation. Uneven body parts. Lumpy legs. Jagged marks. Botched liposuction. For Heidi, this decision has left indelible marks.
LITERALLY.
"The big dark mark from my chin reduction is probably the most noticeable. The absolute worst is on my breasts, and the scariest is below my butt cheeks," Heidi says. "People have fewer scars from car accidents than I have on my body."
The only difference? No one gets into car accidents on purpose.
At least she admits, to her credit, that she really blew it:
"I would love to not be 'plastic girl' or whatever they call me. Surgery ruined my career and my personal life and just brought a lot of negativity into my world. I wish I could jump into a time machine and take it all back," the 'Tag laments.
"Instead, I'm always going to feel like Edward Scissorhands."
Don't be so dramatic, Heids ... the career was already over.

Lindsay Lohan Plays Victim Card in Rehab Brawl; Dawn Holland Fired By Betty Ford

Lindsay Lohan claims the Betty Ford staff member who alleges battery by the star "had it out for her" and was so abusive that she made Lohan cry.
Dawn Holland, who was just fired, says otherwise.
A chemical dependency technician, Holland says Lindsay attacked her physically and caused her to sprain her arm so severely she's on workers' comp.
Lindsay is telling her friends and family, when she returned to the house, Holland grabbed her abruptly and pushed her so hard, Lindsay began to cry.

Lohan also notes, for starters, that she wasn't even with her two roommates hours before the incident that triggered the staffer's battery allegation.
Lindsay says was out getting her hair done ... around midnight. That's obviously true. Wherever she was, she broke curfew and all hell broke loose.
Holland says Lohan refused to take a breathalyzer, whereas the troubled star says she actually asked Holland to give her a test but Holland refused.
That's when things got really heated.
Holland says in the heat of the argument, Lindsay "threw the phone ... I threw up my left hand to block it and then she grabbed my right hand and tried to snatch the phone that I had up to my ear, then called me a 'C**T B***H.'"
Holland says she told Lindsay, whose code name at the clinic is Bella G., "You know I could press charges against you for putting your hands on me."
"And she replied 'Oh, you just want money.'"
Lindsay Lohan claims there were not only witnesses that saw it, there are surveillance cameras to prove her story. Time will tell if that's the case.
Holland was fired, reportedly, not for the incident itself, but for commenting on this story to TMZ in exchange for money. That's another story.
For what it's worth, Dawn Holland was also embroiled in a bitter divorce last year. Her ex accused her of battery following allegations of cheating.
Dawn's husband claims she "lost control, broke up a lot of my personal property and attacked me, kicking me in the leg and causing a contusion."
For her part, Dawn claims her hubby viciously attacked her on several occasions. Now divorced, she has a restraining order against her ex-husband.

Selena Gomez is "Getting Stronger"

With fellow young stars making headlines for all the wrong reasons - salvia smoking, stints in rehab, racy Twit pics - Selena Gomez has never been better.
Granted, the singer might be receiving death threats these days for holding hands with Justin Bieber, but she's also covering Sugar magazine and coming across as more grounded as ever.

“I used to be much more of a people pleaser than I am today," Selena says. "But about two years ago, I started getting better at doing things and making choices that make me happy. I definitely feel like I’m getting stronger.”
Despite recent rumors of dating Bieber, Gomez insists she's single. And she's fine with that.
“Once the blur and haze of being in love goes away you get to focus on yourself. Whenever I have a crush on someone, [friend] Jennifer Stone always says, ‘Enjoy the illusion while it lasts, I’ll see you when you get back to the real world!’ And it’s SO true!”
