EXCLUSIVE! Former ‘Glee’ Guest Star Josh Groban Defends Sexy GQ Cover: ‘It Did Exactly What It Was Supposed To Do!’

The stars of Glee caused quite a stir with their scandalous photo shoot in the November issue of GQ, but Josh doesn’t really think it’s that big of a deal!

Josh Groban is totally Team Glee! Cory Monteith, Dianna Agron and Lea Michele are at odds with a lot of people ever since they stripped down to their tidy whities for their GQ cover. When we ran into Josh, who actually guest starred on the popular series back in March, he gave HollywoodLife.com his opinion on the controversy. “I thought it was very sexy,” he said Oct. 22 at NYC’s Angel Ball .”I think it did exactly what they probably wanted it to do, and they look good.”
The Parent Television Council released the following statement when the photos were first released: “It is disturbing that GQ, which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on Glee in this way. It borders on pedophilia.”
Josh went on to say, “Terry Richardson [the infamous photographer] does these kinds of things.”
